Khalida is a multi-award winning professional belly dance performer and instructor, born in Belgium and living in Germany. She has a background in ballet and jazz, discovered middle eastern dance in 2003, and has been studying martials arts (Tae Kwon Do) and dance & movement theory in addition since 2015.


ParkKhalida was the first dancer/instructor to graduate with distinction at Yamila’s 3,5- year professional training for performers/teachers of Middle-Eastern Dance in NL in 2007. In that same year she was the first performer to win the ‘Bellydancer of the World’ main category (solo oriental/raqs sharqi) title at Leyla Jouvana‘s international festival in Duisburg.


Known for her musicality, originality, stage presence and technique, Khalida has quickly become a sought-after performer and instructor at local as well as international bellydance events. Students, coachees and dance colleagues describe Khalida as a gifted and generous teacher and an engaging performer with a passion for the art.


She continues her studies with world-reknown teachers across the globe.

In 2016 Khalida received the Raqs Flow Level 1-certificate with Sadie (USA) in Breda, NL and she currently offers personal coaching for dancers as well as instructiontal DVDs and workshops for different levels and high-quality performances.

In 2011 Khalida collaborated with one of her mentors Aziza (USA/CA) to produce her first 2 instructional DVDs: Shimmies with Khalida and Isis Wings with Khalida. In 2015 she started producing her own DVDs and Downloads. All available instrucional DVDs can be found in the Online Store.


She has been successfully featured as a guest instructor/performer at international bellydance festivals. In the past few years she has traveled to teach and perform in Norway, Israel, Belgium, Turkey, The Netherlands, Greece, Czech Republic, Poland, UK, Egypt, Canada and the US (Seattle, Hawaii). She has also been invited to judge at international bellydance competitions.


Khalida performed at Bondok's first 'Folklorient' show in Germany and was part of Magdy El Leisy's 'Tänze der Welt' project in 2010.
